Like many schools, Bayville High School offers its students many extracurricular activities such as sport related events

History[]

Bayville High School was the school in which the X-Men and Brotherhood, save for Wanda, attended. At some point, Scott began attending after being brough to New York by Xavier after he was fitted with his Ruby Quartz Visor. After Jean was recruited to the team, she at some stage joined the girl's soccer team and over time became its most valuable team player. After leaving Deerfield, Illinois, Kitty relocated to Bayville and began to attend school there. The team was eventually joined by their other young X-Men allies such as Evan and Rogue. During her time as Principal, Mystique went undercover as Principal Darkhölme, she was known as a strict woman who had secret contact with Erik, the two then recruited Lance Alvers, Pietro Maximoff, Fred Dukes and Todd Tolansky to become the opposite of the X-Men.

After Mystique abandoned her role as Principal, the occupation was filled in by Edward Kelly, a man who encouraged his students to do their best with their gifts, unaware a great number of his students were mutants. After learning this, Principal Kelly became hateful towards them and went as far as to accuse Jean of using her telekinesis to cheat during soccer matches. the school's non-mutant students would also show hate towards their mutant classmates.

The school has also come under attack numerous times such as the time Lance and the Brotherhood attempted to expose mutants long before it was done by the media. One time was resolved after Xavier telepathically erased the incident from the minds of those who witnessed it. On graduation day, Principal Kelly warned Scott and Jean that it was something he wanted to go on without a problem, it was then interrupted by Rogue, who was mind controlled, and then followed by Erik and his Acolytes who tried to explain the X-Men what was wrong with Rogue.

Faculty[]

Ms. Darkhölme: The human alias of Mystique, Principal Darkhölme was considered a strict woman who did not appreciate her students being late. After only being Principal for a year, Mystique abandoned her role and Ms. Darkhölme after it was known to the X-Men and she was seemingly never heard from again.

Edward Kelly: Edward Kelly became the newest Principal after Principal Darkhölme stepped down. He originally was supportive of all his students but showed great hate towards the mutant students after they were exposed, he attempted to get them expelled but after that failed, he tried using the Bayville boys to provoke the X-Men into using their powers, it failed and Principal Kelly expelled the Brotherhood.

Mr. Vandermeer: Mr. Vandermeer was Evan's social science teacher, he noticed how Evan was struggling during lessons and suggested Evan write about the Star Wars Program, the latter mistakenly wrote about the Star Wars films but Mr. Vandermeer gave him another chance by giving Evan the option to film what goes on during his daily life to which Evan accepts and does well.

Mr. Radetski: Mr. Radetski is the Grade 10 Geography teacher and was the one to take his students on a field trip to the mountains. Despite the delay due to the bus being stuck because of the snow, Radetski took his students to explore the nearby cave system, two of which consisted of Scott and Rogue, the trip was initially also meant to include Jean in Rogue's place but the former was held back by Mystique, as Principal Darkhölme, who insisted Rogue go instead.

Hank McCoy: Hank McCoy was Bayville High's Science and Gym teacher, he attended the school in his youth and eventually became a teacher. After his mutation started to get out of hand, he was forced to resign after Principal Kelly and the police claimed Hank McCoy was a wanted fugitive, Hank retired from teaching at Bayville and instead went to teach at the Institute where he remained in his beast form.
Mrs Hawkins: Mrs Hawkins is Bayville High School's other Geography teacher. Kitty considers her to be less fun and deems Hank as a better teacher.
Dorothy Red: Dorothy Red, or Ms. Dorothy, is Bayville High's Secretary and works for Principal Kelly.
