Shadowed Past

Personality[]

During her time as Principal, Raven appeared as a strict woman who did not appreciate her students being late and was not afraid to confront those who angered her, she became easily frustrated if a situation did not go her way or if a student misbehaved but regained her calm demeanour when she spoke to Erik during the time the two recruited the Brotherhood.

Physical appearance[]

Mystique's human form was a woman in her mid forties to early fifties who had short dark brown hair and brown eyes who wore black glasses, white earrings and a necklace with a white triangle on the end. Her outfit was a gray buttoned up blazer with a matching skirt and light brown tights with a pair of black shoes with a light pink shirt.

Recruiting the Brotherhood[]

Strategy X[]

At some point, Toad was told to go visit his principal where upon calling him into her office, she had to open the window after Todd's scent caused her to do so. Instead of asking why he was sent to her, she asked him about his run-in with Scott where she was told that Scott was actually decent where Toad further remarked that had it not been for him, the jocks originally targeting him (Toad) would have hurt him further. Raven then mentioned how Scott had powers and that he was not the only person to have them and mentioned how she needed to learn more about the mutant powers and ordered Toad to get more information by sneaking into the Institute but was told no as Toad did not want to do so as Scott saved him after all but Raven then forced him to do so after she shapeshifted into an alien and hovered over the mutant claiming that he would do as he was told.

The next day, Raven had called Toad back to her office where she was displeased with Toad's lack of information claiming that Xavier had most likely used his telepathy to make Toad forget he was even there and had her suspicions quickly confirmed after he claimed he did what he could. Raven then ordered Toad to leave her office where once he had gone, she was told by Erik not to be so hard on the boy as in doing so could thin their ranks.

X Impulse[]

Raven witnessed as Kurt attempted to teleport into class due to being late to which she threatened to enrol him into one of her after-school classes but the situation slowly calmed down once Scott showed up to get his friend, Raven watched as the two walked away with Scott reprimanding Kurt for his obsession with junk food but her expression soon changed to that of scepticism as the two continued on.

Shen then appeared to Lance after the Fire Department had done their jobs, she lost her temper and told Lance that every chance he had at the school was gone, she then calmly explained that she is his advisor after he asked who she was. Raven then turned into Mystique and codenamed Alvers "Avalanche" knowing that he was also a mutant and had offered him to join the Brotherhood.

Rogue Recruit[]

At some point, Raven got a call from a blind mutant named Destiny who tells her colleague that Rogue's powers have finally manifested. Raven then travelled to Mississippi where in the airport, she questions what had happened just before the reveal where Irene reveals that Rogue only made contact with a boy and sent him unconscious, this angered Raven as she remarks that she and Destiny had kept the girl hidden as possible for five years but it took Xavier only moments to admit to Rogue what she was and could do, after she calmed down, she questions where her adopted daughter would go and Iren merely mentioned "Home, or what she thinks is home". Rogue eventually returned to the home of the boy she had touched that caused her powers to manifest and began looking through his items.

The day after now with Rogue now at the school, Raven welcomes her to Bayville High and reassures her by saying how happy and safe she will be there and she is thanked in return. Once alone again, she began talking to Erik who questioned if all of Rogue's positive memories of the X-Men were really gone to which Raven confidently tells him that she is positive.

Mutant Crush[]

After Fred is embarrassed after being laughed at by a crowd of people for falling down after attempting to pull the trucks he soon left the scene and was found by Raven who quickly offered the mutant a place in the Brotherhood, an offer which Fred accepted.

Speed and Spyke[]

Seated alone in her office, Raven eventually spoke with Erik where the two began making plans to get Pietro to join the newly formed Brotherhood of Mutants, their plan consisted of a basketball game in which Bayville High would play against Evan's old school

Middleverse[]

She was the one to stop the fight between Scott, Jean, Lance and Fred and made Scott and Jean go to her office where upon entering, she immediately left upon noticing the ruined furniture. Once alone, the two mutants watched from their principal's window as Toad appeared and zapped Raven's car out of view but witnessed as Kurt appeared for a split second after he had teleported away not wanting to be hit.

Turn of the Rogue[]

Her focus soon shifted to her adoptive daughter where she mentioned that Scott wouldn't be friends with her only for Rogue to mention she wasn't interested in him anyways. The situation continue to become heated as Raven mentioned how she overheard Scott and Jean talking about how they'd have Rogue as an enemy during their training simulations which caused Rogue to question why her future teammates would do something like that and becomes upset, Raven then mentions how it was time for Rogue to realise who her real friends are and hopes the young mutant enjoys the upcoming trip, she leaves her a backpack and left the room.

Shadowed Past[]

During the school day, Xavier visited Bayville High in an effort to see what Raven knew about what had happened to Kurt only for her to slowly regain her memories of what happened that night however she loses her temper and tells Xavier to get out of the room and not wanting to probe any further, Xavier went to leave but told Raven that her son was a "fine young lad".

Later on after she regained her memories, she sent Pietro to the mansion to give Kurt a note from her inviting him to meet her at the mall that night only for the latter to tell the kleptomaniac mutant that it was none of his business when asked what it was about. The next day, Raven then watched from her window as a young girl got out of a car and thanked her mom for giving her a ride to a school, Raven, who was still watching, lowered her head in shame as it happened knowing that she could never give that same amount of motherly love to her son or Rogue.
