Okay, so I think we can all agree that X-Men Evolution was awesome, right? And I think we all wish it had gone on past the four seasons we did get.
Well, here’s what I’ve been thinking. I am thinking of putting together and running an online, forum-based play-by-post RPG set post-series in the XME-verse.
I would run it either through FFN, or else host it on its own site - not sure yet. But I’m wondering if anyone’d be interested in participating.
This would probably be set a fairly short period of time after the events of S4, and would deal in part with the aftermath and repercussions of Apocalypse’s awakening and attempted takeover. I’ve got ideas for one or two subplots, but the main thread would deal with Xavier and his X-Men adjusting to a world in which, as a result of the Apocalypse thing, anti-mutant sentiment is higher than ever.
Another idea was to pick up shortly after the Phoenix incident, where not only the X-Men are having to deal with skyrocketing anti-mutant sentiments in the wake of what happened, but also having to deal more personally with the aftermath of this second incident, which struck them even closer to home.
Or, alternately, we could make that one of the events covered in the game.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone interested?
